Structure And Working Principle Of Agricultural Clutch Separator

The agricultural clutch release mechanism (also known as the clutch release mechanism) is an important part of the clutch system and is used to separate the frictional contact between the clutch pressure plate and the flywheel, thereby disconnecting the power transmission between the engine and the transmission. The following is a detailed explanation about the structure and working principle of the agricultural clutch separator

Structure

The agricultural clutch separator usually consists of the following main parts:

Splitter lever: The main part of the clutch release mechanism is the splitter lever, usually a long, thin metal rod. It is connected to the release bearing on the clutch pressure plate and is connected to the driver's operating control through the operating lever or pedal.

Release Bearing: The release bearing is located on the back of the clutch pressure plate and is attached to the splitter rod. It is a rotatable device whose function is to push the clutch pressure plate away from the flywheel by compressing the pressure device under the control of the operating lever or pedal to realize the clutch separation.

Compression device: The compression device is the part controlled by a lever or pedal, which is used to apply pressure to push to release the bearing. Compression devices typically consist of one or more compression springs or hydraulic elements through which force pushes the decoupler lever toward the flywheel to disengage the clutch.

Working Principle

The working principle of the agricultural clutch separator is as follows:

Separator Release: When the driver operates the clutch pedal or lever, force is applied through the release bearing attached to the separator lever. This force will release the bearing to apply compressive force to the clutch pressure plate.

Pressure plate disengagement: Compression force from the release bearing is transferred to the clutch pressure plate through the separator lever, keeping the clutch pressure plate away from the flywheel. This causes the frictional contact between the clutch pressure plate and fly wheel to separate, disconnecting power transmission between the engine and transmission.

Stop power transmission: Once the clutch pressure plate is separated from the flywheel, the power of the engine will no longer be transmitted to the transmission, and the power output of the agricultural machinery will be interrupted.

Through the operation of the clutch separator, the driver can control the connection and disconnection between the engine and the transmission, realize the clutch and speed change operation, and provide flexible control and operation convenience.
