Causes and Solutions of Agricultural Clutch Slipping2

Clutch slippage refers to the inability of the clutch to effectively transmit power to the transmission when it is working, resulting in increased engine speed without increasing vehicle speed or increasing slowly. Here are common causes of farm clutch slippage and possible solutions

Reason

Worn clutch friction plate: After a long period of use, the clutch friction plate will wear out, reducing friction and causing the clutch to slip.

Solution: Replace the severely worn clutch friction plate to ensure that it has enough friction to transmit power.

Insufficient clutch pressure plate force: the film spring on the clutch pressure plate loses its elasticity and cannot provide enough pressure, causing the clutch to slip.

Solution: Check and replace the damaged film spring to ensure that it has enough elasticity and pressure to maintain tight contact between the pressure plate and the flywheel.

Oil or over-lubrication: The surface of the clutch parts is polluted by oil or over-lubricated, which reduces friction and causes slippage.

Solution: Clean the clutch components and make sure they are lubricated with the proper lubricant to provide good frictional properties.

Improper clutch adjustment: The clutch is adjusted too tight or too loose, resulting in the clutch not working properly.

Solution: Perform clutch adjustments according to the manufacturer's recommendations to ensure proper contact and friction between the clutch pressure plate and the flywheel.

Hydraulic clutch problem: If the agricultural clutch adopts a hydraulic clutch, it may be slipping due to problems such as hydraulic system failure, oil leakage or insufficient pressure.

Solution: Check the hydraulic clutch system and repair any faults to ensure that the hydraulic system is functioning properly and maintaining proper fluid pressure.

Damage or failure of clutch components: Damage or failure of clutch components such as the pressure plate, flywheel or release mechanism may cause the clutch to slip.

Solution: Check and replace damaged or faulty clutch parts to ensure that the clutch system is working properly.

It is important to note that technical expertise and proper tools may be required to resolve agricultural clutch slipping issues, and it is recommended that repairs or component replacements be performed under the guidance of an experienced technician. In addition, regular maintenance and maintenance of the clutch system is also an important measure to prevent slipping problems.
